THEATER OF PEACE LIVE

Association for Social Research and Communications (UDIK) from Sarajevo, in cooperation with the Association of Dea Dia from Belgrade, supported by Schüler Helfen Leben (SHL), informs the public that will be held an activity on Saturday, November 21st, 2015, on the Square of Fap in Priboj. It is the central activity as a part of the project “Theatre of Peace Live”, and will be held at 11am when young people from Bosnia and Herzegovina will perform a play.

“Theater of Peace Live” is a project implemented in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia and aims to bring together young people who are going through a series of workshops to learn about the concepts of transitional justice and dealing with the past, with the aim of introducing young people to the past, but also reconciliation and a just peace.

“Theater of Peace Live” is a contribution of youth organizations to dealing societies from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina with prosecuted war crimes and various forms of human rights violations, because as the philosopher George Santayana said: “Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it”. Transitional justice is one of the more effective instruments to prevent a repetition of this, and the young people are the ones who need to work on it.
